What Does Poetry Mean To Me?

Gossamer wisps of words
Cling to memories like fine threads;
Each a painted picture,
A cascade of emotions
Swirling and diving deep into my subconscious
Helping me to heal...
Helping to make sense
Of a life lived
The ups and downs documented
In a word play
that brings both intimacy
And universal appeal.
