It's the simple things in life that count
No Promises


Give me no promises of roses or wine
All I ask is that you be mine
Give me no promises of diamond rings
There are more important things
Give me no promises of happiness
All I need is tenderness
Give me no promises of security
All I ask is your loves purity
Give me no promises of being close
Be there when I need you most
Give me no promises of a life time
Just give me one day at a time
