Poem of inner strength and courage, battling adversity with honour and truth.

Valiant Heart

A battle cry born from pain
In this life I won't be slain
I don't wear warrior armour
I girdle my heart with honour
My foe may hurl words like stone
I do not care if they break bone
I stand tall like an ancient tree
My truth soars on the breeze
Many battles fought for good
Especially for those alone stood
I move from battle front to front
Standing up to those who affront
The hardest battles are lies
These breed and swarm like flies
To conquer a heart filled with malice
Fighting my way through an evil palace
I want to save everyone from pain
Stop the tears from falling like rain
For the broken to be a shining light
For them I battle with all my might
