being a chained palace pet does not allow love
A porcelain black panther paces around the edge of an oriental carpet.

Her teeth are four rounded golden capped fangs in a gaping, open-mouthed snarl.

Her eyes are green faceted peridots surrounded by gold painted eye lids.

Around her neck is painted a collar of gold stemmed red, bluish, and yellow flowers.

Dangling from her collar and encircling her left front leg is a golden chain.

Her claws have been cut away and the stubs painted gold.

Her ears are laid back angrily defiant.

I can almost hear the snarling hiss of her impotent rage.

She is a chained palace pet.

She paces around the edge of an oriental carpet.

Don't ever let your guard down.

Don't ever under estimate the power coiling beneath her decorous restraints.
