Wild the night!
The winds breathe heavily;
Trees struggle to stand -
No place for mortal man to be!

Wild the night -
A thunderstorm rages through
Lightning flashes,
Giving earth its due.

Wild the night -
But come the dawn
Fresh clean air
Will linger on!
