SPARE ME

My steps are much slower
as age has taken its toll,
My eyesight has grown dim
but death is not my goal.

Spare me the vision
of nursing home living;
I've spent many years
in loving and giving.

I plan on just living
the best way I know how,
embracing the sunshine
and enjoying life now!

There's more I can do,
I'll give it my best;
So spare me the worry
as I follow my quest!
