This was a series that originally was broadcast on BBC.

An army officer and army nurse fall in love. Then he is shipped off to Korea. Time and the mail service are against them, and neither get the letters one sent to the other. Their hearts are broken, but they soldier on, and the live their lives.

Forty years later, both single again, wiser, and set in their ways, they find each other. The romance blooms again.

Judy Dench stars with other great actors and actresses. This is a great comedy series that takes you from when they first get back together, to their rocky moving in days, to their marriage, and the loves and break ups of Judy, Sandy and Allistair along with Lionel's father, an adventuresome old goat who marries a young at heart cowgirl of 70.

When you want to have a good family movie and feel happy at the end.
