This is a really great movie with Kevin Costner, Robert Duvall and Annette Benning.

The story is that two grizzled cowboys and their big friend Mose and their young friend, get going on the drive of their cattle to the cattle sale, slowly, letting the cows graze and get fat on the way. They are called "grazers" , a bad term in a world of barbed wire and title to huge spreads.

This a true western, likely one of the best since John Wayne, and more real than Wayne's ever were.

There is real action, the scenery (canada) is spectacular and the time and effort given to the script is lovely. Annette takes the stance as the girl, not just for the movie, but for her brother, the cowboys, the town and the viewer. She has a very special role that she plays so well.

The rest of the story is that the bad guy who owns the town takes on the two cowboys and the cowboys do the "cowboy thing" by getting the town together to throw away tyranny.
