In this game you play as Dart, a small town guy returning home after adventuring. He learns some things that are pretty typical of a video game hero (your town has been attacked by an evil army...) and rushes to save the girl he loves. On the way he has grand adventures that continue on even after he saves her- cause you KNOW he is going to save her.

Teens interested in a game with a great story instead of just leveling and killing. You do actually get to play the game though, you're not just pressing A and X and looking around while the plot passes by.

The story! I wanted a game that was like an interactive book, and this delivers. It's fun, and you can go on without learning the whole tale, but the characters become important and that really made the game enjoyable for me.

It was 4 disks long so be ready as this is a game that is not going to be beaten in an afternoon. Sometimes I got tired of all the talking.

I wanted to re-play it! Isn't that really the point? I'm not made of cash, I want a game that I can put on my shelf and keep, not beat in a weekend and sell it back for less money.

Excited, sad, worried, overjoyed, romantic, and giddy.

Creators. They did a wonderful job. The graphics are okay, the storyline is intense, the characters are likable, and once you perfect the fighting system it is perfect.

Because I'm tired of playing games that you beat in a short amount of time. The Final Fantasy games did so well because they had a good plot in each game and you felt for the characters. Legends of Dragoon will keep you busy for a long time, is a great source of inspiration, and is something you can play again and again.

Again, if you just want a quick video game and are more into action than plot then this may not be for you, but rent it and give it a shot.

Just remember this is not a game you'll beat immediatly. Be patient and enjoy the ride. There is a guide for it as well.
This game is for Playstation 1, but you can play it on PS2 as well.
