The story of a young college graduate who has no idea what he wants to do. He is seduced by a friend of his parents (Mrs. Robinson) and has a summer-long affair with her. Then he meets her daughter and suddenly finds purpose in his life as he falls in love with her daughter, Elaine.

Dustin Hoffman. I have always loved him since the first time I saw this movie. I saw it a long time ago, but it sure stands the test of time. He is very cute in this.

Katherine Ross as Elaine. Her acting is bad news, but everyone else is good.

watch Dustin Hoffman in something else and I will. I am thinking maybe Tootsie.

like I was back in the 1960s and 70s.

is mostly very funny. Katherine Ross is the exception. Anne Bancroft is excellent as Mrs. Robinson. Buck Henry has a hilarious cameo as the hotel desk clerk.

I loved watching every minute of it. A bonus is the Simon and Garfunkel soundtrack. I love Scarborough fair and Sounds of Silence especially. And, of course, the song, April, Come She Will. I had forgotten that song and now I can't get it out of my head.

Love this movie!
