This is a story of a woman who has left her hometown in Alabama to become a successful Fashion Designer in NY City. She hasn't been home in many years and has left behind a husband that she neglected to divorce.

Now, she finds herself engaged to a politically connected public figure and has to high-tail it home to see to the finalizing of the divorce. The problem is that she finds that she can't divorce her feelings for her husband.

anyone who enjoys a light romantic comedy.

the hounddog. He is so cute with his howling. I love any sort of big hound. He stole the movie.

the cast because there was no chemistry between Reese Witherspoon and Patrick Dempsey and between her and Josh Lucas.

go to sleep because it was late.

nothing in particular except I like seeing big old hounds in movies.

is a good cast but they obviously don't like each other very much. Candace Bergen is funny as Patrick Dempsey's mama.

it is not something that I found to be very engaging or funny.
