This is a biography of the Queen of England. It is interesting, but I would not recommend it. Why? Well, I would not recommend it because to elevate the royal family, the author proceeds to trash Diana. I do not go along with thinking that Camilla Parker Bowles is wonderful and the love of Charles' life and Diana is evil. No, I do not buy that so it brings into question the rest of the book.

when I learned that the Queen is trained as an expert car mechanic. She was trained during WWII.

the trashing of a 19 year old who married a lying ass of a 32 year old and then was lost. She is deceased and I do not think trashing her is the way to go to elevate the royal family. Charles is not someone I admire and to elevate him, you have to trash Diana I guess. No sale here.

sad for Diana's children because if this book had been fair to Diana it would have been a great book.

I admire Princess Diana and I basically think Charles is a jerk. I think he wanted it all his way and when the 19 year old he married had ideas and dreams of her own, he couldn't face that and ran back to good old Camilla.

If you do not like Diana and think Charles is a saint and and excellent person to be King then you will like this book. If you have any questions about Charles behavior, then you won't like the way Diana is treated. She's called a liar and worse. That really turned me off.
