Summary of this DVD...
This is the story of a street performer in Dublin. He works full time at his dad's shop fixing "Hoovers", i.e. vacuum cleaners. He meets a young girl from the Czech Republic, who sells roses on the street. It turns out that she is a singer and pianist. They develop a friendship and set out to make music.

This is a lovely, lovely story in a beautiful setting.
This type of DVD is good for...
anyone who loves music and/or Ireland.
I especially liked...
the leads, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. She is magical, especially. I really liked the fact that it was a friendship without sex.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
nostalic for Ireland.
The cast of this DVD...
is wonderful. It is an enchanting film that won a lot of awards.
I recommend this DVD because...
it is a story of friendship centered on music. The girl is especially enchanting.
