Summary of this DVD...
This is a new (2013) look at November 22, 1963, the day President John F. Kennedy was assasinated in Dallas. This was produced by the Smithsonian Channel and is very factual. The documentary is narrated by Kevin Spacey and it includes interviews with a lot of people who were there. Of interest to me in particular were the interview with the young man (then) who drove Oswald to work at the Texas School Despository that day. I had never seen him interviewed before and he had a unique perspective on the day.

There are a couple of reporters (not the usual suspects) and the doctor and nurse at Parkland Hospital who are interviewed. In addition, Lady Bird Johnson's words are included - in her own words on tape. Also, the sheriff who was handcuffed to Oswald when he was shot was intervied, in addition to Oswald's wife's land lady, Ruth Payne.

There does not seem to be an agenda pushed, it is people telling what they know from their unique point of views. It is good someone did this before everyone had died who could remember the day. So, these memories are preserved for historical purposes.

This is better than most of the documentaries I have seen on the assasination. It is available now on Netflix streaming and that is where I watched it. If you have an interest in the history of the Kennedy assasination, this is a must-see documentary.

It lasts about an hour and a half. I will proabably watch it again as I may have been distracted during some of it.
Further Comments...
I recommend this because it seems to be more factual and informative than most of the documentaries I have seen. Be warned that autopsy photographs and the graphic full tape of the Presiden't fatal wound are shown in vivid detail.
