The trilogy continues in this second audio book, with a romance brewing between Connor and Meara, though not easily because they are both stubborn. Cabhan continues to seek revenge against the descendants of the dark witch Sorcha.

Adults who enjoy Nora Robert's storytelling romances.

It was much harder to listen to this narrator than with the one in her first of the trilogy. I did finally get used to him, but I preferred the other. I'm sure because it was more about Conner than Iona, that a male reader was chosen. He wasn't terrible at all; it was just an adjustment.

I'm looking forward to the 3rd in this trilogy.

Nora Roberts, born in Maryland, is of Irish descent. She has written over 200 romance novels.

I didn't feel the second book was as good as the first, but it could've been the narrator since I had a hard time understanding who was talking. I am, however, looking forward to the 3rd in this trilogy. It's a different reader that the 1st or 2nd, so I will let you know!
