While I enjoyed Questlove's perspective on creativity, I felt there was a bit of anecdotal over-reliance on a few select pieces of art that clearly influenced the author's creative inclinations but are difficult to identify with if the reader is unfamiliar with the work or doesn't see it as similarly transformative. Overall it was a decent read, but I was hoping for a few more nuggets of inspiration I could apply to my own (non-musical) creative works.
