About Me
I was born in 1964 in Little Rock, Arkansas; both parents are still living by the grace of God (Mother Age 77, Father 82). I'm the youngest of five children. Age five years old, my mother, an Early Childhood Educator, shared books of rhymes. When it was read, I new I wanted to write books. My mother is also a great poet; I'm the legacy. At age 14, I began to write how I felt inside, with an inner gift flowing from my spirit… to the pencil in my hand. I am the mother of one son.
