Thoughts from time to time.
Possibilities

I have lived in a exciting piece of time, being a baby boomer and growing up in the sixties. It was an era of mechanical technology in the United States of America.

Farming changed with the World and farms grew in size and versatility with displaced people moving to big towns and cities. We went from two row planters to sixteen row planters. One hundred or two hundred acres per farm to two or three thousand acres per farm, on the average. We've went from eighty bushels of corn per acre to two hundred forty bushels per acres with no irrigating needed.

The Worlds population has exploded and one of the ways to feed the population is synthetic foods.

Examples- Milk made from distilled soybeans, cheese made from soybeans and by products.

Meat production that takes grains that a human can eat will slowly go out of economical feasibility.

Instead I can someday see alternative crops produced to provide needed protein.

Example.- Variety of a Garbanzo Bean, or Russian Thistle, planted in the winter, grown and cut by early summer.
Dried in the field until the moisture content is forty percent. Put into vats to ferment with a special bacteria.
Heated to capture the alcohol for fuel.

The remaining product is put into a artificial digester and when it becomes ninety percent soluble is distributed to special silos that are one hundred feet in height.

Inside the silos are mindless mammal tissue masses that grow to fill the silos.

When the mass reaches a certain height, a door at the bottom is opened to harvest the bottom third of the mass.

The tissue mass slides to the bottom and continues to grow.

The process takes one pound of dry matter digested product to grow into five pounds of a human digestible product.

The product is ground, packaged, and sold as a protein burger.

Sound simple until some biocenologest creates a super cell gastric bacteria for better fermentation, and wipes out all mammals in the World due to inflammation of the Ileum, causing Ileus, inducing a slow and painful death.

Today that sounds like one big whopper. But in the future it might become a reality. Who knows?

A daydreamer that mother thinks will never do anything will sometimes become good at covering up what he hasn't done or what he did do with a long cover up story. When the stories become believable with big words and plausible explanations, it might be you have a writer in the making!

In 1952 nine out of ten doctors said Camel Cigarettes were good for a person. True or farce? Both! It was said that Camel paid doctors to endorse camel cigarettes.Camel as a non-filtered cigarette was better for you then filtered. Much like today world when doctors recommend chemo for cancer patients.

Behind every good marriage is a poker face or two.

The inevitable in growing old is watching your comrades die.

There are two sides to every coin, two stories to every marriage, and two hearts to every confrontation.

Life is hard and then you die! If one does not make good choices, life is harder.

Life is a ride without a brake paddle. Time waits for no one.

The older one is, the more cynical he or she becomes!

With each privilege comes responsibility. If you have the privilege of freedom, you have the responsibility of making that freedom meaningful and preserving that freedom for yourself and others as well!

Something I wrote on Facebook about a year ago.

I saw a site on Facebook that was for, ' Christians Against Hate!' I looked at the site and thought, "That's only half the story!" Yes, You should love your enemies, but you should also support and help direct your government in their endeavors to support your rights as well as others in a free country. A group or religion that thinks to supersede their concept of law over the governments laws to the point of violence, should lose their rights to be allowed in the country, regardless of citizenship or no citizenship.

Have you ever wondered how the usage of money seems to change the perspective of people? Can giving a tithe (10%) of your income to your church make you a more committed Christian? I believe it does! And does a Muslim giving their asked for twenty percent to their Mosque, commit them to follow all that the Koran says? (Ouch!) How about giving money to a political party? Does your giving, close your eyes to the faults of the party's leaders? Do you stand up for the political agenda even when you know you don't believe in some of the issues their pushing? Just some thought on what money can do TO YOU even when you think you're using money for good. No wonder the Bible states money is the root of all evil!

When you enter a phase where you examine your life and reevaluate your purpose here on earth, there can be a number of outcomes. You can possibly decide that you've been a failure, and that it's no use trying any longer, OR you can decide you haven't done as well as you wished and try harder. OR you can decide it's someone elses fault that you aren't where you want to be. OR you can recognize your own shortcomings and try to change them OR except them and except the restrictions those shortcomings give you. Everyone is a slave to ones self and the decisions you do! OR if you decide to do nothing, that's your decision as well. NUFF SAID!

Something put into words by me and one of my favorite authors!

I read an article a few days ago about Israel turning the desert of their region into productive farm land. It got me to thinking about today's problems and what some of the root causes might be. Fifty years ago the people in some parts of the world got serious about wanting a better life for themselves and their children. To do that they limited the number of children they had and were able to put some money away for a time when they might need the money. (Retirement, lose of job, etc.)

At the same time a lot of the world came under what I would call, 'Artificial population explosion'. One of the truest examples would be having an economy based solely on oil. In this realm the government sold the oil and put the common man on a stipend. (Salary) People had nothing to do but collect the money, buy food and raise a family. There are many other examples around the world where people find themselves unable to feed themselves because there is to many people for the regions food supply. When a government decides the people have became to many and stops giving the people their money or a political upheaval takes place you all at once have refugees.

Now you could say, one part of the world has acted reasonable and one part hasn't, but it go's much deeper then that. What about governments that spend beyond their yearly revenues and borrow against the future. Isn't that an artificial bull economy?

The whole world need to learn universal truths. Accountability from ourselves, tolerance of others, while demanding accountability from everyone! (Maybe mandate two children from every female of the human race as one of the restrictions?) Self imposed restrictions would have to be all the world governments down to the lowliest person drawing a paycheck.

This is a big order for mankind and I don't know if it is even possible. If we don't make strides in solving the worlds problems, I don't know how many people will make it into the twenty second century. Overpopulation and intolerance with strife could turn into world chaos.
