A young billionaire rushed into a hospital. He asked the receptionist, "How is my mother? When and why was she admitted?"

The doctor said, "Your mother suffered a mild stroke. She was brought to the hospital in time by the elderly couple sitting there.

The son thanked the elderly couple profusely. "I am sorry I don't recognise you", he said. The lady replied that they didn't know him either. The son was surprised.

"How do you know my mother?" he asked. The gentleman replied, "she is a member of our WhatsApp group". The son looked dazed.

The gentleman continued, "we have a group on WhatsApp — _The 60 Plus Group_.

Everyone sixty and above is a member. It is the duty of the members to enrol those in their neighbourhood.

_Everyone has to send a "Good Morning" message everyday. Similarly in the afternoon and night. The members can chat, exchange views, etc._

_*If we do not receive the mandatory messages everyday, the neighbouring members are alerted and they make it a point to visit the member.*_

This morning, we didn't get the message from your mother. That's why we are here."

"It is not enough if you have provided your parents with all the facilities money can buy," he continued. "They need people to talk to. When was the last time you visited your mother?"

The son couldn't answer immediately.

"See, that's why we have this group. Otherwise, we 60+ people would be talking to walls and windows", the couple said as they left.

*_Don't forget that while you are busy growing up, your parents are growing older_*

“What metal is NaMo made off”?

A question raised by a senior military officer about Prime Minister Modi (See the first Comment).

The chemist in me tried to decipher. The answer is NaMo is made of sodium (Na) and molybdenum (Mo). Sodium is part of ‘common’ salt and our biological system including the heart works thanks to sodium. Sodium metal is soft, lustrous, shining but don’t mess with it. It is highly reactive. If you want to see the violent reaction try to put some sodium on water.

The second metal in NaMo is molybdenum. Unlike sodium, molybdenum is very very hard and melts at very high temperature. It is extra tough and is used to make steel and super alloys. Mo is part of some important enzymes in human body. You can't exist without it.

A combination of Na and Mo makes NaMo soft and at the same time a very tough man. The message is don’t mess with him. You can’t stand his reaction. RaGa learned this in the hard way in the parliament.

My biologist friend had a doubt, What metal is RaGa made off?

RaGa is made of radium (Ra) and gallium (Ga). Radium is a radioactive element discovered by Marie Curie. Ra was thought to be the cure for all diseases, people were highly excited in the beginning. It was used as medicine for rejuvenation therapy and also for making fluorescent watch dials. All people including Marie Curie died of radium poison. After the initial euphoria, nobody wanted to touch radium and lot of efforts were taken to get rid of the remaining radium.

Interestingly Ra is part of a dynasty. It is formed by the decay of thorium and thorium itself is formed by the decay of uranium. Note: it is ‘decay’ product.

The second element Ga is a vicious metal with a MP of 29 degree centigrade. You take solid Ga in hand and it will melt. Highly unpredictable. It has absolutely no role in biology. So RaGa is the combination of a poisonous element with a useless element. Khatarnac combination.

I wonder how so aptly the names were put!!!

“This poem is beyond all relationships. But made for us all

When I'm dead.....,
Your tears will flow,..
But I won't know...
Cry with me now instead!

You will send flowers,..
But I won't see...
Send them now instead!

You'll say words of praise,..
But I won't hear..
Praise me now instead!

You'll forget my faults,....
But I won't know.....
Forget them now, instead!

You'll miss me then,...
But I won't feel...
Miss me now, instead

You'll wish...
You could have spent more time with me,...
Spend it now instead!

When you hear I'm gone, you'll find your way to my house to pay condolence but we haven't even spoken in years....
Pls look for me now!!

''Spend time with every person around you, and help them with whatever you have to make them happy!! your families, friends, acquaintance.....

Happy Women's Day 2019. WOMAN. . . . . . . . .
When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day....... An angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her?" The lord answered. "Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?" She must function on all kinds of situations,
She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time,
Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart,
She must do all this with only two hands,"
She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day"

THE ANGEL was impressed" Just two hands.....impossible!

And this is the standard model?" The Angel came closer and touched the woman"
"But you have made her so soft, Lord".
"She is soft", said the Lord,
"But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome" "Can she think?" The Angel asked...
The Lord answered. "Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate"

The Angel touched her cheeks....
"Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her" "She is not leaking...it is a tear" The Lord corrected the Angel… "What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .
The Lord said. "Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."... This made a big impression on the Angel,
"Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.
A woman is indeed marvellous"

Lord said."Indeed she is.
She has strength that amazes a man.
She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love and opinions.
She smiles when she feels like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.
She fights for what she believes in.

Her love is unconditional.
Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life"

The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being?
The lord replied: No. She has just one drawback
"She often forgets what she is worth". W O M A N:
● changes her name.
● changes her home

As we approach the center, we look around and notice the Circle calmly, peacefully there with us. We watch the passing of the sun and the passing of the moon, one and the same, the Circle of Life that never ends. We feel our footsteps moving lightly upon the ground, and we feel Mother Earth breathing quietly, touching us silently.
We enter the Circle with a reverence for all the beauty that exists around us. . . We notice the smell of the soil beneath us and we see the flowers and trees and little plants that fill our head with the many colors of the rainbow - one light from end to end, from beginning to beginning. We enter the Circle, and we bring with us all those things that have power for us, all of the feelings, all of the memories, all of the people we have known and know now, all of the places, the faces, and the experiences that have brought us to this moment.
Each of the seven sacred woods is laid upon the center, one after the other, with prayers offered in thankfulness and humility. We can smell the distant aroma of each piece of wood as it offers itself in splendor and the wisdom of time. We can feel the rhythm of the drum penetrating our body and mind, vibrating and whispering to our spirit in an ageless river flowing through all that is. And with each heartbeat of the drum, we can hear the distant footsteps of our ancestors there, always moving calmly in the soft, misty light of the dim early morning and quiet evening's fall. We see them moving slowly, shifting in unison, smiling in the distance.
Again the prayers are offered, and we can feel the warmth upon our skin as the Sacred Fire is lighted. We inhale, we exhale; inhale and exhale. This is our breath of life. These are our sacred words offered in the timeless beauty of the Circle of Life. We are flowing as sunlight upon Mother Earth; we are flowing as greenery slowly offering life and rising; we are flowing as the river's ancient song; we are flowing as the wind's whispering voice."

~~ The helicopter appeared over the late morning horizon. We were to receive Mr Lachhman Singh Rathore who was visiting our Flight Unit to perform the last rites of his son, Flying Officer Vikram Singh.

~~ Only the day before, I had sent the telegram, “Deeply regret to inform that your son Flying Officer Vikram Singh lost his life in a flying accident early this morning. Death was instantaneous.” It was the first time for me- to meet and manage the bereaved next of kin, in this case the Father of the brave officer.

~~ While most of the desolate family members insist on seeing the body, many a time there isn’t a body to show !! Flying Officer Vikram Singh’s remains were only a few kilos –scrapped from what was left in the cockpit. We had to weigh the wooden coffin with wood and earth.

~~The pilot brought the helicopter to a perfect touchdown. Soon Mr Lachhman Singh Rathor was helped down the ladder.A small and frail man he was, maybe of 80 years, clad in an immaculate dhoti.

~~As I approached him, he asked in a quiet and dignified whisper, “Are you Venki, the Flight Commander?” “Yes Sir.” “Vikram had spoken to me about you. I’d like to speak to you alone for a minute.”

~~ We walked to the edge of the concrete apron. ‘I have lost a son, and you have lost a friend. I’m sure that you have taken great care in arranging the funeral. Please tell me when and where you want my presence and what you want me to do. I’ll be there for everything. Later, I would like to meet Vikram’s friends, see his room and, if it is permitted, visit his work place. I then would like to return home tomorrow morning.”

~~A commander couldn’t have given me clearer instructions.

~~The funeral, with full military honours, was concluded by late afternoon. After the final echoes of the ‘Last Post’ faded away, Lachhman Singh spent the evening talking to the Squadron Pilots. Vikram’s roommate took him to see Vikram’s room. Lachhman Singh desired to spend the night in his son’s room instead of the guest house we had reserved for him. Early next morning after a tour of the squadron area, my boss took him to his office.

~~A while later, the staff car took Lachhman Singh to the civil airfield two hours away.

~~As the car disappeared round the corner, I remarked to my Boss, “A brave man he is. Spoke to me like a General when he told me exactly what he expected from us during his stay here. I have never seen a more composed man on such an occasion. I admire him.”

~~ “Yes, Mr Lachhman Singh Rathore is a warrior in his own way. He sired three sons and has laid to rest all three of them.

~~ His first son Captain Ghanshyam Singh of the Gurkha Rifles was killed in Ladakh in 1962 War. His second son, Major Bir Singh, died along the Ichogil Canal in 1965 in an ambush. His youngest, Vikram Singh, who had the courage to join the Air Force, is also gone now.

more to our country’s defence than All of us combined.”

~~Yes, he is indeed a brave Indian ; in fact HE is MORE INDIAN than anyone else - His sacrifice can never ever be repaid by the Country !! He is almost a Martyr himself !!

*~~ But what about the ' Losers ' ?? Those who have SIMPLY LOST their EVERYTHING to the Nation. Like this Father of Three Brave Soldiers. ~~*

One night I had a dream
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets
of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to me
and the other to my Lord.
When the last scene of my life shot before me
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
There was only on set of footprints.
I realized that this was at the lowest
and saddest times in my life.
This always bothered me
and I questioned the Lord
about my dilemma.
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
you leave me."
He whispered, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and will never leave you
never, ever during your times of trial and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints
It was then that I carried you."

Keep the faith friends

Interesting RCA ..
What has happened yesterday (as per one of my IAF friend)..Minute by Minute details
9:52 AM – Indian Netra and Northern Air command detected ten F16 took off from 3 Airbases from Pakistan. They came in 3 groups and merged in attack formation near POK.
9:54: AM – India scrambled 2 Mig21 bisons and 4 Sukoi MKi to intercept 10 PAK F16
9.58 AM – India sounded alert to PAF fighters that, you are about to encroach Indian air space. Please evade.
9.59 AM – India sounded alert # 2 to PAF with IFAC protocols and they didn’t respond
10:00 AM - PAF violates Indian airspace. With Swarm merge attack formation (which is tactical in nature)
10:01 AM - Nine F16 forced to deviate path and within 1 KM of airspace they returned to POK side after heavy surface to air ground artillery and valiant fight from our Sukoi and Migs.
10:02 AM - One PAK F16 went deep inside Indian territory probably 3 KMs to destroy an Oil storage at an army brigade HQ
10:03 AM – One IAF Sukoi and one Mig 21 Bison (Flt Lt Abhinandan Varthaman) continued engaging the F16 in a dog fight maneuver called “Defensive split”. Mig 21 was in the front, then F16 and then a sukoi. Due to firing from sukoi, F16 flee the scene using a dog fight maneuver called “wingover”.
10:04 AM – Sukoi hovered around oil field guarding it and Mig 21 Bison (Wg Cdr Abhinandan) chased F16 out of Indian territory. While chasing he engaged F16 in a lock-in position for his onboard R-73 air to air missile to be deployed.
Here you have to applaud the courage of Abhinandan. He could have returned to base. But if he returns to base then the missile lock in would have been disengaged (due to out of radar coverage) and he will not be able to shoot F16 down. So he decided to chase him down to POK and shoot him down.
10:08 AM – He engaged his R73 missile that hit the F16 and drowned him
10:08 AM – After shooting him down he performed a highly dangerous maneuver called “High-g barrel roll”. He had to do this because he had been in the vicinity of PAK surface to air artillery and SAM. While doing so he has to vertically climb at high speed and reverse its direction towards India. While doing so his old outdated Mig 21 bison’s engine thrust had a problem and he became almost non-maneuverable for few secs. And during that time either a SAM or air artillery hit his plane.

So people questioning his valor and skill should understand what has happened.
Just upgrading radar and avionics doesn’t give you the edge.
It requires a huge piloting skills, ability and courage to drown a F16 with a Mig21.

So salute to Abhinandan

Wealth Abundance Health Divine Enlightenment

Is there a power that can reveal hidden veins of riches and uncover treasures of which we never dreamed? Is there a force that we can call upon to give health, happiness and spiritual enlightenment? The saints and sages of India teach that there is such a power. They have demonstrated the efficacy of true principles that will work for you, too, if you give them a fair trial.

Your success in life does not altogether depend on ability and training; it also depends on your determination to grasp oppurtunities that are presented to you. Oppurtunities in life come by creation, not by chance. You yourself, either now or in the past (including the past of former lives), have created all oppurtunities that arise in your path. Since you have earned them, use them to the best advantage.

If you use all available outward means, as well as your natural abilities, to overcome every obstacle in your path, you will thus develop the power that God gave you - unlimited powers that flow from the innermost forces of your being. You possess the power of thought and the power of will. Utilize to the uttermost these divine gifts.

'We do good not by what we do
But by who we are'.
- Charles de Foucauld

Could we talk about the teaching of awakening?

We could, if you like – however there is really no point in doing so. We could talk for hours on end about it, but if you have not experienced it for yourself, you cannot see it, you cannot get it.

Simply be true to what you already know; simply be totally honest with yourself. What do you want right now? What are you doing? What are you feeling? What are you thinking, right this very minute? Give yourself fully to whatever is happening for you right this moment. Your individual consciousness is universal, so give your heart and soul to it unconditionally. Do not think about anything else. When it happens naturally, without any effort, this is the ultimate state. It is this ‘thing’, the absolute, ultimate reality, that is seeking you out. And it will find you when it has decided to do so. In this state beyond all states, in the immense heart that beats eternally, spontaneously, you will discover who you truly are.

For the only real teaching takes place once this ‘thing’ is revealed. This ‘thing’ that leads us to drop the mistaken identification with what we are not – the body, the senses, the mind, the emotions, to cease thinking of ourselves as somebody. This feeling of non-existence, referred to as awakening, is spontaneous and instantaneous. Then there is clarity, an internal transformation, a very strong inner teaching. And this is the only real teaching.
