Anyway, I wanted to again mention about the little down arrow thingy in the upper right corner of your note. Aside from having the opportunity to edit a note, you can also save notes you find useful or interesting.
When you want to retrieve your saved notes, go to the top of your Newsfeed and click the button on the right that says Saved Newsfeed Notes.
Also, feel free to regularly click the middle button that says View the Community Newsfeed. Right now, you are on your Personal Newsfeed where you'll only see official WdC stuff and things from people whose heart you've clicked once (to set them as a favorite) or twice (to fan them -- which is better because some folks like me sometimes reward their fans, but favorites are a secret, only you know you've favorite a person or item, but fanning lets the person know you've fanned them or their item). Both fans and favorites show up on your Personal Newsfeed, though we can't see what you are seeing specifically on your Newsfeed.
Anyway, the Community Newsfeed has notes from everyone (within your rating limit) so you can see a lot more of what's going on. I encourage you to visit the Community Newsfeed often.
Side note about fanning and favoriting, when you see a bitem (big item) link such as
If you click / double click the heart by the person's name, you are only fanning them, not their item. To fan (or favorite, but again, double clicking is usually best) and item, you have to go into the item and click the heart in the upper right corner (not the one in the middle of the info area by their name).
Since you already know how to make bitem links, you may already know half of this. Good job knowing how to work WdC so quickly!!!
