My life...

I'm struggling with it; I'm doing this in honor of my cousin Billy, who recently passed away. He felt strongly that "everyone should write and autobiography."

This one's for you, Billy.

Thought up an idea for a book last night; decided to write a chapter and just put it up for all to read and review. The item is

and I'd love to get honest critiques on it.

Thank you!
Struggled to sleep and then finally drifted off for about an hour, waking up to an invasion of tiny ants all over the kitchen cabinets....*RollEyes* Hmmmm. Maybe I should write about these pesticide-resistant pests. I think I'll name the piece Home Invasion: The Ant Chronicles.

This is a concept for a storyline I'm working on for my novel.
I'm back after a long hiatus due to "OH MY BRAIN WON'T WORK". Check out my short......"Bear Mountain Tale".

Rough draft of Chapter Four of my novel Shadow Play is being posting now...

Please, if you haven't read any of the chapters, start with Chapter One (The Bayou) so you know what the story's about.

This is a rough draft so, any and all reviews are graciously accepted...good or bad. If anything can be improved, I'd like to know.

Woot!

Thanks!
I did it! I sent in a disclosure statement to The Onyx Path Publishers, and hopefully I will hear something positive regarding my novel, SHADOW PLAY(which is in development).

Wish me luck!!

What is a disclosure statement, Chelsea?
The one thing about a creative mind, and I'm certain many of you can relate to this, is that your brain doesn't appear to function as a "normal" human's should. Example: everyone in your household is asleep when, suddenly, out of nowhere, you get a brilliant idea that you just don't want to forget. You need to get it down on paper (on in my case, on the computer screen) before you lose your train of thought and, before you know it...even before your BRAIN has a chance to realize this...you are sitting there writing (or typing)full sentences or even paragraphs of what you hope will appear to others as literary genius.

There are, for me at least, days that run into each other because of these manic sleepless nights. Last night was one of them.

Yup, I think there's plenty of folk on this site who can relate to that! To be honest, I'm worse with reading than writing. I read a great quote that said something like 'I don't have insomnia, I just have a great book and a lack of respect for tomorrow'. *Bigsmile*
Some of my best writing is done late at night. I think it is because it is so quiet, I can finally hear my thoughts.LOL
