It sounds cute, and things are different for self-publishing, but publishers and authors I've met and read about say that you will be assigned an artist for a children's book once it's accepted.


So, it might be okay if you can't find an artist or do the art yourself.
My idea for my novel: how evil cats were turned into snakes by the gods. Please don't steal my idea!! It's in the works, but I would love to hear suggestions!


The kids series based around my naked kitty, Gaspard. The title of the first one is "Gaspard is a Kitty and a Scientist". This will introduce him and provide the kids with a look into rare breeds of cats! :) I love my kitty!!!!
