Behold the latest tokens of my efforts Also, would anyone be interested in reviewing
It's part of
And I have the usual feeling it makes no sense at all... |
Oops. I thought there was a choice as to what you wanted reviewed. So, you received a review for the intro. "Oh My My" |
Yes. Yes, surpass your master, you indeed do—a Padawan you no longer be! As Always, "May the Words be with you." How proud a patron can be... even if his only claim to your fame is as one of the first to see the "Joti" within you. (un-like the Jedi, Joti, use pens and keyboards instead of light-powered sabers. They know the true power of words as the stronger, longer lasting, energy) |
Joey's Spring has Sprung - aw shucks, Joey, you flatter me I haven't placed in the official monthly contests yet, for one. There's always more practice, more learning, more trying, more refinement of techniques and honing of instinct. My "Oh My My" project is going to be quite the undertaking; I'm looking forward to the jolt of creativity (meaning it hasn't exactly arrived yet ) |
Wow… I ranked #4 in top reviewers for April I have to thank Gaby ~ Counting GoT Numbers and "Game of Thrones" for that achievement 170 reviews… I wouldn’t have thought it possible. |
I've added a new entry to my book, "Where Dragons Play" : "What's Her Story #47" Am I just a shadow you drew? bonus ▼ |
A super shoutout to iKïyå§ama for sending cheers enough for me to request this lovely MB! (I’ll have to resist the urge to quote because I can’t think of any one line that fully expresses the internal dualities that bond me with them… ) |
Say… has anyone noticed that tj ~ endeavors to persevere! hasn’t been on since April 14th? I hope he’s alright. It’s not like him to disappear for so long. |
Just checked TJ's notebook. His last post mentions something about being busy with his camper. A lot of work goes into RVing. I suspect that's what he's been doing. Maybe he went camping? Somewhere without WiFi. He and his wife do like the outdoors. It's possible he's out enjoying a little low tech nature for a couple of weeks. |
SP is Muddling through - ah, in that case he’ll be back with a camera full of nice nature pics, maybe. |
Thank you all for the kind thoughts. Yes, I've been busy, but the furnace is working again. A couple of the cupboards were getting pretty shabby, so I built new ones. I have that job half done, but will have to wait to do them after we return from our first camping trip (next Friday through Monday), it's good the furnace is working again, it's only suppose to be in the fifties and down close to freezing at night. I am also now a great grandfather! Samuel joined the family last Thursday. I'm still busy, but since it's chilly, I wanted to let the garage warm up and thought I better log in here and let everyone know I'm doing alright. |
Are you totally bored with life? Looking for a new way to waste time so you don't have to concern yourself with serious important matters like getting a job or talking to people? Look no further! Gaby ~ Counting GoT Numbers is here to help with "Game of Thrones" ! From crazy crosswords, wonky word searches and maddening mad libs; to piles of pesky poetry, reams of rave (or is it raving?) reviews, and silly stories of all shapes and sizes, you'll find endlessly long lists of useless activities to occupy yourself with in the hopes of claiming some sort of recognition at the end of it all! Join the fun, sign up now Play responsibly. Side effects may include: * Panic when you realize how many reviews are actually required to achieve certain goals and you're running up against various deadlines * Nervous admiration and self recrimination when you see others achieving far more than you are * Loss of sleep as you stay up late unlocking Doors and juggling Tedious Citadel Tasks * Blankness of mind as you stare at your computer screen and wonder how to combine two totally disparate writing prompts while the clock ticks * Desperately searching for further online distraction (Twitter, emails, news, job hunting, etc) as you try to procrastinate on the activity you signed up for in order to procrastinate on other things... |
56. Write two Limericks. One about a girl named Ann and the other about a blue house 1. There once was a lady named Ann Who fanned herself with quite a large fan Being large, of course The drafts reached gale force And flattened it all like tin cans! 2. There once was a house painted blue Which looked an awful lot like a shoe One day the UPS guy Saw it and said “why! That really is a shoe, it is true!” (Ugh. I love clean limericks, but please don’t remind me how mine don’t scan. Which reminds me…) There was a young man from Japan Whose verses never would scan When they said this was so He said “yes I know But I always try to get as many words in the last line as I possibly can!” |
Yay! I finished my Quotation Inspiration entry! It was so much easier to write a fantasy with the provided quote than something in real life.
Any feedback is appreciated |
Schnujo is Late to Lannister That was hilarious, thank you I highly recommend!
