Keep writing, also if you like mythology I learned most of what I use in my writing from books in the local Library. In the United States they are generally classified under the 300s of the Dewy Decimal system.(Not sure it's used anywhere else. )
Another good source for inspiration is TV and online encyclopedias. There's also creepy pasta blogs.
See the point I'm rambling on to is that the best way to improve your writing is to read and then write. Then look for feedback. After that you just repeat and adjust.
WDC is an excellent place for that. But anyways it's your decision. I'll see if I can help if you want.
