I've been struggling to come up with a story for March's prompt at the lovely "StAG Firebox - Closed for judging!" . I even borrowed the ebook of Tim Power's The Anubis Gates after I learned it was one of the earliest steampunk novels.(It was amazing and not at all what I think of as steampunk nowadays!) So I popped back onto the contest page last night and read this entry: "Fugitive"  by Beholden . Y'all, it's so good! So consider this a recommendation for Beholden's entry, the contest, and Tim Power's book. Enjoy and happy weekend!
I'm so tired, from either a fibromyalgia flare or a flare with some underlying cause. It's hard to move and at times I can't even focus my eyes well enough to read for very long. Have you ever had time to write or review but for some reason outside of your control been physically unable to do it? How do you cope?

This is going out on a limb for me, but I'm enjoying re-engaging with the WdC community after having disappeared for 10+ years. Thanks to the encouragement by Schnujo is Late to Lannister , I'm trying to participate in "The Contest Challenge" . *Scared* *Scared* *Scared* Gulp!

But here I go! Posted my first entry a few minutes ago to the "Lucky Limerick Contest"  And I'm going to try to become more active here in the newsfeed.
