Just so you know, most folks won't see your messages until they've clicked your Plus Sign once (to set you as a favorite) or twice (to fan you--the preferred method because then you get notified). Once they've clicked your Plus, you will start appearing on their Personal Newsfeed, the default when we click Newsfeed.
Until then, only people like myself who sometimes troll the Community Newsfeed will find you. I highly recommend you get involved in reviewing (including striking up conversations with folks you review and who review you...once you write something publicly viewable), enter contests and challenges, and get on the Community Newsfeed to see what all is going on.
To get on the Community Newsfeed, click Newsfeed. Then on your Personal Newsfeed along the top you will see "View the Community Newsfeed." Click that. It's the same as your Personal Newsfeed, but without the filters that don't allow you to see what everyone else is putting in their Personal Newsfeed. When you post on it, it doesn't matter where you post--Personal or Community. No one will see it if they don't go to the Community Newsfeed, which most folks don't, or if they haven't clicked your Plus.
So, I recommend you hop on the Community Newsfeed and start scrolling, liking, commenting, and making friends.
