Hey, all you fanciers of the specialty teas and decadent cakes on offer over at
To borrow & paraphrase a line from Trading Places, GERVIC 🐉 WDC Dragon Vale's trying to corner the market. If you haven't checked the status of your latest bids recently, you may want to click on over... |
Thanks for the shout out |
Greetings from Angel! I'm journeying through Wonderland, and I'd be delighted to have company Drop by for tea and crumpets with Angie and Fluffy, help them find the White Rabbit and restore the passage of time to the castle, and don't forget to leave an encouraging comment or two to let me know you were there "Angel in Wonderland" |
I've never had crumpets, not even when I was stationed in West Berlin. I had plenty of tea from the NAAFI (Navy, Army, and Air Force Institutes) truck, though. Great stuff. |
Gonna go out on a limb and guess that, while this is a "White Rabbit", it isn't exactly the White Rabbit you seek? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnJM_jC7j_4 |
Okay, poetry-loving Newbies, the clock's ticking! As noted below in "Note: [Image #2310473]
[Countdown]
[Link To I...", "A Newbie Poetry Contest" is looking for entries. They can be brand new or they can be old (but see the caution regarding previously awarded items), so get your muse in gear and submit one. "But I don't know if my poetry's good enough!" Seriously, that's what's stopping you? They're not looking for the next coming of "The Iliad" (but, boy would their eyes bug out, if you submitted just such a masterwork!), just a poem. If it's your first poem ever, then that's the way it is. If the best you can come up with is along the lines of Roses are red, violets are blue. Someone will win, why can't it be you? then you can at least say you've (finally) entered a poetry contest! |
Not too long ago, someone was asking how to get a Costumicon without being a Premium member. Whoever you are, here's your big chance! "Note: *Cool* Gift Points are on SAL..." |
I had a couple of people asking recently. Hopefully, everyone is seeing this. |
Ah, man... I let the whole day get away from me and broke my Review, Forum & Newsfeed Achievement streaks. Anyone have a Tardis I can borrow (I'd add "Just for just a little bit.", but it's a time machine, so...)? |
Awwwww. Why don't you refresh and check on it? Who knows... maybe the time machine is already invented and someone fixed your streaks... |
Elycia Lee ☮ Brain Break - I gave it a try. Alas and alack, the broken streaks remain. Worth a shot, though. |
PRO-Tips. You've all seen them here on the Newsfeed. This isn't one of those. It's more along the lines of a How-Not-To-Be-A-Dork-Tip. If you're playing the Secret Valentine game and, for whatever reason - just for fun, for an extra layer of anonymity, etc. - a fellow participant asks you to send an ANONYMOUS cNote to their SV, don't forget to click the 'Anonymous' button at the bottom of the cNote page!. If you forget to do that, your Anonymous Assistant cover is blown. Not only that, but then you get the Secret Valentine version of P.D. Eastman's "Are You My Mother?" |
