Writing is the least expensive therapy in the world. But remember, what you write for therapy is not what you write for others to read. Take the therapy writing and put yourself in the shoes of every character, every person you write about. It is amazing how much sympathy you can come up with for your enemies or foes if you try to imagine how life looks like from their point of view. Remember the saying: walk a milel in my shoes.
