I had to make a big decision that wasn't easy.
I have nursed the elderly for 15 years and worked in healthcare. This demands a lot from you physically, but also mentally.
Here in this country the health care system is terrible to work in with many cuts and new backward rules.
This is not the way I want to care for my patients so I have decided to stop.
I'm taking a break for a year and then focusing on the future.
I will have to go back to school for an education, my focus now goes to working with children at school.

But damn the decision was hard.

I am retired but Healthcare is hard to work in. I worked in Nursing 42 years. I cried a lot and asked if it was worth it. I am with you on this and wish you the best.

Thank you for advertising the Snail Mail group. Remember though, if you simply want to send something to someone here on the site and they don't want to join the group, you could just exchange addresses with them privately.

It's been just like that in Britain for a couple of weeks now - alternating sun and horizontal rain all day long. Never mind - it gives me an excuse to take the car when shopping instead of just walking. *Bigsmile*
