I really think you did a great job writing this story. You kept the readers interest throughout the story. I liked the choice of words such as Fortunates, and The Catchers. It kept some kind of mystery in the story.

I wonder if there is possibly some type of symbolism to homeless people as well. You could say society in general looks upon a homeless person as a stray dog, not wanting to recognize them as a human being, that they could help in some way.

I think the story has a deeper meaning in it. One that it's unfortunate that we can not be more giving even after holidays. I think it's a real shame that we don't have the Christmas spirit all year round. I think we should, being kind to others, and helping those in need.
