I love this and can relate. While the meaning may be specific to the author, it can also be easily applied to any experience but hopefully, in time, those shards of glass fuse together to and become stronger.

Meg,
Once again you have captured the essence of feelings felt by all kinds of people in all kinds of situations. A case of knowing just what to say at just the right time. I have no doubt that all who read this can reflect back to a lost love one. I certainly could and I thank you for that. Nobody should be forgotten and everyone should be given the opportunity to cry. You are a treasure, a friend and a true angel.
From all at WDC. Thankyou.

Meg,
My sentiments exactly. We should not be nice to each other just because of the season. We should be nice because it's a nice thing to be. As all would agree, you are a fine example of how to treat others. We could, and should, take a leaf out of your book and spread the joy.
Love you

Meg
Excellent. Hope all who read it take heed of your words. If the words are from your heart they cannot be wrong. If someone doesn't like what you have written it doesn't mean it's bad, it just means they don't like it. Some like pumkin, some don't. It's the way of the world and always will be. For all those who love to write, write for your own pleasure, not for the gratitude of others. Keep it up Meg your my favorite.

Meg,
Captured beautifully. It matters not it the specifics aren't absolutely accurate, the sense of pride and the significance of the ultimate sacrifice made by brave men and women is capture brilliantly in your piece. Your gift of writing is obvious in this and many other pieces however your endless compassion and beautiful heart will now touch all at WDC.
Proud to be your son

Meg,
Brilliant. A great day it will be when people come to terms with the fact that they are just that, people. The only difference between anyone is a point of view. If we can accept the colour of a cat, we should be able to accept the colour of the person holding the cat.

Meg,
Brilliant. You definitely have a gift. The manner in which you write your poems suggests a never ending stream of thoughts going through your head. Just a matter of sorting out what fits where I guess. Not an easy thing to do but you do it exceptionally well. No point telling you to keep it up. If the ideas keep coming you'll keep writing. I can only hope you keep sharing.

Boom,
Outstanding. To put what's in your heart to words is a hard thing to do and you've done it beautifully. The meter is a bit off, it's a little repetitive with your choice of words and the stanzas are somewhat uneven. In most cases this would lessen the effect and possibly obscure the message, I think this adds to the meaning and displays the wealth of emotion and love that you clearly have for your wife and future child. Congratulations on the piece. An outstanding effort for your second entry. Whether you write from the heart of just off the cuff, keep writing. You truly have a gift that should be shared and thank you for sharing it with the world.
Regards
