I'm not normally a fan of these sorts of personal essays, but your imagery here was really lovely and followed solid interior logic, which made the piece easy to see as a cohesive whole. Excellent job. Keep writing!
I definitely see potential here, but I didn't get a solid enough sense of history or even what was going on presently to especially care what happened to the character. There's a very fine line between leaving things ambiguous enough to be interesting, and being so ambiguous the reader gets confused or feels shut out of the story completely, and it's difficult to find that balance. It will come with practice, so keep going.
I did definitely like some of your language choice. You chose some very evocative words, which is great!
