Thank you for sharing this poem to remind me that we all need to be more aware of how important it is to love and encourage children. We don't know what happens in their private lives and I don't know if I could handle the problems and my feelings if I knew. I try to reach out to children as I serve as a 4-H leader and Sunday school teacher. I have found that nobody cares how much I know until they know how much I care. I find good things about young people and let them know what I appreciate. I often get a big smile where none was seen before.
