AHAAA! I absolutely loved this! Here you are trying to make peace with the snobbish Ashlyn and she so MEAN! Serve her right!
Great writing all around. The story kept my interest from beginning to end and I think it will serve well as a children's spin as well. Very nicely done. Thoroughly enjoyed.

This is perfect. Sounds like a typical day for a busy mother who, probably gets little or no help from hubby.
I think many working mothers will readily agree that there is little time in the day to get all the things done that we need to.
Very nicely put together and a wonderful read from start to finish! Please, let me know when you've posted more!

Well, if your goal was to make your readers SEE these three individuals as if we were actually meeting them, you have ABSOLUTELY accomplished this. Descriptive writing is at its VERY best here and I am amazed at how brilliantly the images of your subject came at me.
I think this was written perfectly and it is deserving of more than the five stars I'm allowed to give.

I like the fact that you pay tribute to your Grandmother, she sounds like a terrific lady. I do appreciate the couplet format (one of my favorites) I also feel like the poem could use some editing. There are some sentences that have too many words that are not needed, in my opinion. Overall, it was a lovely poem.
