that story is absolutely amazing! No wonder you won a prize! When I usually see a story of the same length as yours I do not usually take the time to read it - I know, bad habit - however, this time I read yours because the part that I read in the beginning was so captivating and filled with suspense that it was ustopable! It is unfortunate about what happened to your neighbours when you were small but at least something good came out of the experience. Please keep writing.
