I love the emotion in your writing, you have a real gift with giving words feeling.

But then something else goes wrong

I think what you have here, is an embodiment of the general feel amongst people at the moment, worldwide. In every country their is uncertainty and strife, and we need pieces of writing like this to help us come together and build a better world, on much stronger foundations than before.

Whoa! This is a huge piece, and I have only read he first 2 chapters. However I am enjoying our writing style and the premise of the storyline.

There is a lot to take in here, a lot of names, places and a new world to understand, so all I can suggest is that you enjoy immersing yourself in this creation and this will help your readers to o along with the plot.

I love the idea behind this line:

Hands on the clock
My one enemy

This is a theme in one of my stories, in that time always moves forward, yet you feel you always move against it, and try to resist.

Really like the poem, and the feeling inside it. There is a real sense of longing and searching for peace that has been put across.

Review of The Fun House

Overall, I really like this. It's suitably creepy, and has a suspense running throughout.

The two main areas of improvement in my opinion, would be to flesh out your characters a little more, make them feel alive and resonate with reader's childhood friends etc. and also to show what is happening not so much telling. This is especially mportant in horror writing as the suspense makes you read faster, sentences that are telling begin to sound like a list being read out.

I do like your writing voice though, and will be dipping into your other and future pieces.
