I liked this. It made me wonder what other things might go on in the mind of a small child when we put them on display. Or even an adult surprised by the birthday song when it's sung to them in a restaurant with everyone watching them!

Hi Geoff,
I really liked this story. I felt like I was walking through the tunnel with her. Feeling the texture of every surface and smelling the stench. The way you described her journey had me sitting here in my chair not wanting to touch anything. I hurt with her and felt her terror.
And the idea that she did not give up, but continued forward not knowing where she was going..only calling out to God for help. I liked the way you repeated words in sentences. I felt hope for her when she was able to see and taste something with life. Very good, I wanted it to go on and see her set free! I'm looking forward to reading more! Michelle
