I love this, expresses my feelings also to what is going on. Great job! The only suggestions I can think of would be to keep adding characters!

You have very great descriptions, I could see, and almost feel the scene play out in my head, although I wondering if you could add some more to second paragraph, to better explain hitting the cabinet.

I know I've had those days when I wish I could go back to bed so to restart, and you describe the feeling of the start of a day that's heading in the wrong direction.

Another suggestion I have is maybe adding something to the last paragraph giving 'The Flash' a little more emphasis, possibly something about zipping through a shower, or homework, something like that so to be able to 'play up' being able to take things slower.
