It is difficult to rate this type of poetry on its content as its intended emotion can often be lost on the audience. I noticed a few grammar and punctuation errors but other than that I believe the work conveyed the intended emotion fairly well. I look forward to seeing more poetry, perhaps some longer pieces, from you in the future!
You seem like an awfully interesing fellow, I enjoyed reading your autobio- Its fun getting to know my fellow loonies on writing.com and learn a little bit about what we all have in common. I LOVE the beatles and I did listen to your little digital bit while reading and I was wondering what that song was?? Also, what hobbies do you have other than writing, reading, cats and CSI? Do you love the outdoors or are you a musician? Do you like painting or would you rather go dancing? I think a little more info on your hobbies would complete this quite well!

I don't even know what to call your references technically... Absolute genius, absolutely. I loved this piece and will never forget reading it. As a physics major (and not much for understanding poetry) I have great respect for the paradox this piece presented to me.
I rated your other item today and had to come back to read this one and all I can say is that I am impressed. It did not follow meter, but that is overlooked when you read the meaning into the piece, which is then overlooked when you read the subject it falls into as a poem.. which is then overlooked by an appreciative reader like me with the ability to rate!

Wow, this piece in itself took quite an imagination to build =o)
I very much enjoyed the simplicity of the story, yet it had so many meaningful connotations almost on another level. It was put together beautifully and I honestly have no suggestions to improve it, which is quite unusual for me!
I am in the process of obtaining my teaching liscense, so I can teach middle school. I think it's wonderful you find the time to do that, and still contribute to WDC. Keep up the awesome work, I will definatly be back for more!

Being somewhat of an outdoorsman myself (more like a weekend warrior haha) I can definatly appreciate this piece. I enjoyed the description used and the fact that it was punctuated very well. One thing, I could tell it wasn't intended to have a rhyme scheme, but being that it is a poem, I had a hard time determining the meter. None-the-less, keep up the good work and I look forward to reading more!
