I like the idea you had for this story. I think you could have used better dialog. Something I like to do is write down all of the details before I write anything, then I write it in at least three different ways and choose which one I like better. And don't forget to go through and edit everything before you post it. Good luck!
In my opinion this could have been way scarier. I tend to like the gorey kind of horror, but that's just me. You are a good writer, don't get me wrong I love your writing. Something I do before I write anything and fill up a paper with details that you want to use in the story, then write it in a few different ways to pick your favorite. It's just a suggestion. Honestly, I am not that into comedy. I also generally think of comedy to not be as long. But, that is just my opinion. I'm not saying it isn't good, because it is. Everyone is unique and has a different writing style. Keep doing what you are doing because it seems to be working for you. Good luck in all you do! :)

You did a really good job. I'm not that into poetry, but I loved this. A lot of people might feel the same way. I love how you say "love can be deathly unkind" because I agree with this line. Love does suck sometimes, and loving someone and not knowing how they feel about you is worse. This is definitely something I would show to my friends to read. You are a good writer! Good luck!
