When I had been writing a good while in the sixties and seventies I was writing more like this than I am now. I was off of it for a good while. Too burned by a bad guy and depressed to do more than do anything but think for a time. I was dwelling too much on that burnedness. I hope to get back to writing this good. It is good to be able to read poetry that is easy listening and doesn't have a a lot of high falooting words. It's okay to use some but not to the extent that you leave your readers wondering just what you are meaning. I have a book by such a writier. I hardly ever read it. TOo few I understand. Thanks for sharing it.

Review of A Talisman

I've given this a 4 but it may be a tad less. I think it is fairly good but needs more work on. You are going in the right direction with this and have a good grasp of writing and story telling but needs some fleshing out. I gather from your intro that is something you are working on. So I guess you are aware it may need more work on.
I am not doing as good though I long to. I am just trying to get into better layout around my house and find ways to get something done in writing - lately struggling with blues to the point of not doing much of anything.

Review of My Choice

I am no expert as a poet but while I liked this item it seems to need a bit of a break in it. It has a lot of good questions to be used throughout life. Yet as your poem shows some (I think many) people don't get around to these kind of questions until they die. Sad becuase it is important to deal with it while you can rather than not at all. Good beginning. Keep working at it. You can make it.
