If I remember correctly, this entry was a winner and I can see why. Great idea; a well-written piece. I liked the description of the neighbor's reaction and their relationship with Fluff's owner. Also I like the open-ended ending.

Keep entering for writer's cramp. I do not usually read other entries beforehand, but I welcome the chalenge.

I did realize where you were going pretty early on probably because of the title :) It could have unfolded a bit more mystereously, Imho. Good luck.

I can totally appriciate the imagery used. If you get a chance to go back though, you will find some missing cammas. I wonder why she smiles at the beginning (even a little bit). I also wonder how old she is, because that would effect her understanding of events.
