I like this poem, it has a good story. I think that the author uses good diction and I like all the uses of imagery. I really like the second stanza and the words that are used in it. I don't really like the way that it ended, I think it could have had more details in the fourth stanza.
I like this poem, it makes me feel bad for the person in the poem. It makes you feel bad for the person because she is waiting on someone who is never going to stay, who is always going to put her behind everyone else. I think the narrator is tired of lying. She sounds almost desperate but the guy feels her head with lies so she believes he will come around to stay.
I liked this poem because it had a happy ending. I liked that the narrator realized that there was more important things than buying a brand new car, especially when there was so many things going on at their house. I like how it was a plot twist. I think that we should always think about others before ourselves.
