Good moral to the story, yet I can't help wondering how Maria knew John and stuff like that. It seems that in this world someone sleeping on the ground would have scant contact with a rich woman. But I suppose it's just a fable. I like the part about how life gives you choices and it's how you decide that decides your fate. Puts the choice in your hands. Do you believe God would give someone such a choice and have it come true? Perhaps something like this happened to you? Anyway, it was a good story.
