"Thou shall have no image before me"...crucifix, saint, nor virgin mary. You do not need to recognize the construction company in-order to find it a very fine road.

That fact demonstrates clearly our failure to teach these foundations to our citizens, and if all citizens do not embrace the structure of their nation...that structure does not exist. I find your expressing of your internal self poignant, however, let me make some suggestions.
Write your work in MSWord and run spell checker prior to posting it. You show talent and this will help you show professionalism. Now to the expression of pain and longing. In time you will find the memories of your first bowl of ice-cream very sweet, however you will realize indeed there are other bowls to come. First make yourself your best friend, for you are the only one who will always be there when you are troubled. Once this has been achieved, you are never alone. An enjoyable read and insight.
I would have given you 5.0, however I must disagree with your conclusion. "Only time will tell," is this not how we got here, waiting for it to get better. Passion does not equal love. However, we can love the passion. This is far different than loving the person, for when we come to truly know them, we may find they are assholes. When we sort the deck we find four differnt suits, and and thirteen denominations in each. However, it is still only one deck.

THANK YOU!! I have spent my life saying these things, although from a western point of view. If we have not sought we cannot know. If we do not know then we must not condemn. Man's judgement can only exist for the violations of man's laws, when that judgement is given by man. Any judgement which is given and infringes on the race of human beings, (the only race), and their devotion to God's law shall be a violation of God's will. I was raised with Christian values, and yet have never met a Christian. I accept Muslim values and have never met a Muslim. No human may interperate God's word (He said exactly what he meant). It greatly vexes me how the instruction books can be so simple, and yet we fail to see. The sublime is there before us and we wallow in the base. How magnificent the gift of life and the treasures of our planet, which were meant for all. Yet how sullied we allow them to be used. We are each one responsible for the world we inhabit, and when we step up and accept the responsibility it can become glorious. There is a simple path, which by agreeing to step upon it changes the world into that it was meant to be. I am a person who asked what I was to do, and was told, "Show this path." It is at this advanced stage of my time on earth, (age 61), that I finally learned what I was to grow up and become. I promised if told, I would give my life to the answer, and so I now spend all waking time keeping that promise. If your word is no good you are no good. The only truth we can ever know is our truth. Regardless of the need, we are never able to see why somebody else does something. This is so because we did not live their life, have their experiences and pain. The pieces of the puzzle that make up their life are not the pieces of our puzzle. Everything is founded in cause and effect. You told this well, your pain, confusion, and need, could be felt. It could use some smoothing. As writers our greatest tool is a dictionary and we should never be far from one.
I hope this was a part of your healing, for it is medicine without compare. Truth is defined by the path we walk, and the path we walk is our responsibility. You appear to have made good choices in your path selection. After we prepare a meal we must clean up the clutter in preparation for our next epicurean delight. Good to see you working at your calling. I enjoy your very mature ability to paint with words. Do not ever allow anything to crush your mind. Always remember there is a reason they are like that, and often it would break your heart to know what it is. We have free will and in my case I swore when it was my turn I would not do unto others as was done unto me. I have done fairly well at these promises. The cream shall rise to the top.
I too just received the news of my eldest daughter, grandchild II is on the way. So much work to teach them to fly--so much pain when they succeed. how can it be she was just sitting here...on daddy's knee. I loved this piece.

Phew, as a child I grew up in the country carrying a gun everywhere. Sometimes when we instinctively shoot we are remarkably accurate. It is apparent this applies to writing also. Excellent work with potential for limitless expansion. Yes, we ever expand. Ain't the world a wonderment???
Age is like parking your car if you don't get backed into or a ticket its ok. Never park in the same place twice if you can help it. Always hold onto the truth, honor, the path that is yours. To hell with the fools who cast off your trenchant thoughts, for to be so thoughtless means they never had one. Thus they can value nothing. You will never be as wise as those older (if they didn't die at some stage of their living), the goal is learn and be wiser than most of your peers. In five, ten, or twenty years you will know what those older sages knew--but then they will five, ten or twenty years older. We ignore our young, and aged and in that we lose the opportunity to see the wonder again and and to see the wiseness. Remember the vehicle has no status but yours has a pretty classy driver
