Hence winter is her usually intrusive self prolonging our eagerness for spring when then we will feel the warmth.I love the poetry and the words, what an imagery. What really stood out to me was the poet's acceptance of what is while still looking forward to what will be. Because nothing lasts forever. Loved this.
Like anything in life practice makes perfect. Not just a story about archery, but also about determination, believing in yourself, and focus. I like Trent, he believes in working hard for what you want. A very good trait for a young man. Also, the ending, that smile says it all. A very good short story.
This made me laugh. Surprising I know; must be my weird sense of humor. That dog is a superhero. I loved the story and Todd was stupid if he thought dogs aren't smart. Bo is the protagonist in this story and to think he was probably playing blues clues with his owner's secrets is amazing. Keep it up.
An ABAB poem. That can mean so many things. The individual in the poem is reminiscent of her past experiences. The good times it seems were really good, but now things aren't as they use to be and she looks back as a means to escape her current situation. The ABAB stance suggests constant wavering in the mind as though she is going back and forth in her thoughts, seemingly unsure of something. One thing is sure is that she is lonely whether it is because the relationship has gone bad or he left her is yet to be known. I take the assumption that she is stuck in something that was once good but is no longer so.
Very good start to this story. The sentences are short, abrupt, and to the point which gives the feeling that Irvine is a decisive person. She seems resolute in where she is in life and though content wants so much more. I cannot wait to see where this goes and the back story of her parents. A Giant and a Siren?! Yep, I really want to know about that.
The visual imagery in your poetry is astounding. Your repetition of the title throughout the poem focuses my thoughts on how important the view is to you as well as how it is your portal access to the outside world. It seems like a connecting door allowing one to see outside from the comfort and safety of being inside.
