That girl sounds just like me. Except I normal lose my cup of coffee in the morning. This is how I feel every time I sit down to write.

i think you captured the fear all of us newbies have. We know we have a lot to say, but are afraid to be honest enought tosay it.

I am guessing that this girl is possibly writing in a journal and her thoughts are pooring out on to the page, but they are so clustered together that she can't identify a single thought. Perhaps the scalpel she is picturing maybe a kind of medicine to help her think straight?

I liked it, although it was a little hard to interpret at times I think I understood what you were saying at the end.

Oh by the way, in the last sentence of the last paragraph you are missing the "r" in turned.
