This is an interesting essay. I have a friend that swears that the house she rented was haunted. It was O.C. Tanner's (a wealthy jeweler in Salt Lake City) playhouse as a child. You might check that out. I believe a man was hit by a car hear there. She believes it was his ghost. We can't help but wonder what happens to us after death. I believe our loved ones are around us in spirit form. Where would they go? We better weatch our mouths. If you did this piece for college, you probably got an A+. It is interesting and well presented. Write on!!

I love your story of your appliances. My Maytag story has my parakeet lost in the motor. This is true. Thank you for sharing. It is well written and I like the ending. I guess that's the way it is with any house. New houses have problems too. I was in real estate. I hope to read more of your work. Write on!!

This is a great looking contest and I can't wait to try it. Everything is spelled out precisely in black on yellow. You want a good plot with a twist and surprise ending. I know that you will teach us a lot in the review as Captain Colossal is in on this. Keep up the good work! Write on!!

This is so true. It's unfortunate there aren't enough homes for all the animals that are in shelters. It's unfortunate there aren't enough loving homes for humans. It's enlightening. I hope the message gets to people who have a home they can share with an animal in a shelter. This is well written and very cleverly done. Write on!!

Review of Ebarrassment

I envy people who write poety. I for sure can't do it. I will give you the 3.5 stars as others did because I saw some misspelled words. doesnt should be doesn't and experiance should be experience. If you wrote the poem while online, I can see the problem. If you write your poem or story on Microsoft Word, then copy and paste to WDC, you could use the handy spell check. Keep writing! You do great work.

Review of Pets At Work
Review by Julie Caulfield
Rated: E | (5.0)
I voted to take a 5% cut to have my pet at work. I guess a pet would be distracting. I remember an associate married to a nursery owner brought all the girls a crocus plant that almost grows before your eyes. It was amazing. I would leave my desk for only a moment and return to see substantial growth. I couldn't keep my eyes off. Suddenly the phone rang. A boss on the other side of my bank said, "I'm going to take that plant away from you if you don't get to work!! I wish we could work with our pets. This was a great poll. I love to see the red stripes. Check out mine. Keep writing!!

It's good to see a story with such caring people. People can't help but love little animals. Humans make their mistakes, sometimes not receiving compassion. It is well written; with the word count at the bottom, it must have been a contest winner. If you make a shorter version, you could enter it in Ladyoz' contest, Wag Your Tail. Enter it a time when I am not a judge. Keep Writing!!

This is really cute. I am not sending mine to you because I forgot what an infinitive is and I messed it up. Maybe you should put the definition or stick to nouns and verbs. I'm sorry. I'm getting senile in my old age. I'm not even that old. Keep writing.

The Cottage Door is a great weay to present your stories. You are so clever. I hope to be able to buy some of your graphics in the future. I'll have to read the above six stories. Thank you for sharing Pugsly's memory with us. He was too young to die. You are a good writer. The addition of the colored picture made it even better. Good luck with the contest. It will be hard to choose just two for prizes. There is another judge, LadyOz. Keep writing!!

Review of Brownie

I loved the story. Brownie was a hero. We need more of those. Thank you for sharing it with us. You are are good writer. Your teachers taught you well. Most of the stories are ending with a death of the pet. I guess it's because they have a shorter life. Good luck in the contest. There is another judge. Keep writing.

Thank you for sharing the story of Bubba, another adopted dog from an abrusive owner. These make me cry. Awful people have animals and there are people like me that can't have a pet. It was well written. Your English teachers did their jobs. Good luck in the contest. Keep writing.
