i see no flaws here. I really enjoyed reading this! the meter and rhyme made the emotion feel so much stronger--and it IS so amazing how much emotion you managed to pack in that little poem! great work! thanx for sharing!
hello. Thank you for writing this. I too am a champion of depression, a misfit of mania(lol)... and also one who tries to make sense of the world of borderline personality disorder. I am thirty now and have been told I showed symptoms since infancy!
i believe your story shed light to those readers who do not know what it is like to experience what we go through, and also gave hope to those like me who fight the battle on a daily basis!

Amen to that. I have borderline personality disorder. I know how hard it is to keep a healthy relationship. you worded it very well in this poem...with concrete yet subtle examples. The poem read well aloud.

brilliant! I am new to the site, but I know good poetry when i read it. I myself do not look for "SPAGs" not my forte :). So on my grounds, this poem was very "solid" Great form..theme carried well from beginning to end. Conclusion even stronger than intro. included very vivid imagery My favorite stanza was the eighth
"When I must quit the lovely dark,
I carry with me its perfume.
I wear the shadows like a cloak,
And seek those corners rich with gloom"
it reminds me how we can carry things that comfort us with us even things like light and dark until we can again indulge. Again great work!
