I enjoyed the thought-provoking feel to this poem, Mark. the darkness has invaded, and he begins to question the darkness because of its futility.

Life sucks, then you die. But death sucks too, so why wallow in waiting for it?

Your poem shows that even in depression, you can find a light to guide your direction. I kinda found it inspirational, really, but that's just me.
